IQRA: Hajj & Qurbani Programs
Hajj is the sacred pilgrimage performed by Muslims at the holy mosque of Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. It is one of the five pillars of Islam, which means that it is obliged of every Muslim at least once in their lifetime (so long as they have the means).
Understanding of Hajj, which is a spiritual journey of lifetime to pray and perform religious rituals that is expected to cleanse oneself and increase Allah’s blessing.
Hajj commemorates the patriarch Abraham’s readiness to sacrifice his son Ishmael in biblical times. Performing Hajj is one of the five pillars.
