
A group clash in Aurangabad, on the second day too
of the district on Friday following massive clashes, arson and stone pelting in Keradpura of Aurangabad.
A large number of police force including a CRPF team was dispatched to Ahiri to maintain law and order and the situation is now said to be under control. Top officials and political leaders are on the lookout for any potential rioters.
Aurangabad was rocked by clashes in which one person died and more than 15 policemen were injured. Besides, 20 police and private vehicles were set on fire.
At least 7 people were arrested and a case was registered against more than 400 known or unknown people for the riots that rocked the city on the occasion of Ram Nomi festival and during the current month of Ramadan.
